The authers experienced a case of hydronephrosis due to periappendiceal abscess confirmed by eyploratory laparatomy. Follow up IVP oi POD 杯29 showed normal pelvocalyceal pattern. A brief review of the literatures pertinent of this subject was done.

Cerebrospinal fluid lactate level and C-reactive protein(CRP) reactions were studied in 131 children who were hospitalized to the Department of Pediatrics, Hanyang University Hospital between February 1983 and August 1983. Congenital hypothyroidism can be caused by ectopic thyroid which classified as aberrant
type and accesory type.
The authors eyperienced a case, having congenital hypothyroidism caused by ectopic thyroid
(lingual thyroid) which confirmed by abnormal physical findings, biochemical studies, radio-
logical studies, radioisotope uptake test and thyroid scintigram, in 1 year and 7 months old
age female patients with chief problems of growth retardation.

mother and 2 months old male baby confirmed by typical facial appearance such as antimongoloid slant,
coloboma, macrostomia and micrognathia and X-ray findings.
